The Rohtang Pass up to Snow Line is renowned for its daring routes and the presence of snow even during the hottest summers. Snow Line is a barrier point set up by the government to prevent life-threatening circumstances during heavy snowfall. It could be some months until there's snow, due to the increase in temperature, but those magnificent sights do remain worth checking out. Along the way to Rohtang Pass, you're going to have to stop at spots such as Kothi, Gorge, Gulaba and Marhi. Note: Every Tuesday and every day of the month when it's snowing, Rohtang Pass is shut down. The National Green Tribunal has also established a cap on the number of vehicles that can pass through Rohtang Pass each day. This means that a permit must be purchased at the time and there will be an additional licence fee, together with vehicle charges. Your responsibility shall be all risks and costs related to adventure activities.
